About Scouts

The Scout Section is for young people, boys and girls, between the ages of 10 and 14 years. The Scout Troop is the third and final Section in the Scout Group as has existed since 1907.

Scouts are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities as part of their programme. Scouts take part in a balanced programme that helps them to find out about the world in which they live, encourages them to know their own abilities and the importance of keeping fit and helps develop their creative talents.

 

We have two Scout Troops which meet weekly:

Collingwood Scouts

Tuesday – 6:45pm – 8:15pm

Nelson Scouts

Tuesday – 8pm – 9:30pm

Uniform and Badges

All Scouts must wear the Sea Scout uniform.

 

The group polo shirt, which is our summer uniform can be purchased via Parent Pay

 

The Sea Scout Shirt, our dress and winter uniform, can be obtained from local suppliers
